Is this therapy?
No. Meet Me Gently is an educational, attachment-informed conversation product. It borrows its structure from real research on how adults bond, but it is not diagnosis, treatment, couples counselling, or crisis support. If something serious is going on, a good therapist will do things no deck ever could.
What if my partner won't play?
Go first. Read one card aloud and answer it yourself before asking anything of them — that turns "a product is interrogating me" into "my person just told me something real." No Event required; one card on the counter works fine. If they still want nothing to do with it, the free sampler cost you nothing and the deck holds no grudge.
Isn't this awkward?
