Shipping & Delivery

Physical decks will be printed to order by the exact provider selected for the destination, card trim and compatible box. This page explains planned coverage and transit handling; physical payment remains closed until that same-provider route is verified.
1. Where we ship
Physical ordering is not open yet. The order configurator can preview candidate routes for the United States, the European Union/EEA, the United Kingdom, Canada, Australia and other destinations, but it will not accept payment until an exact same-provider card-and-box route is verified.
The configurator shows the candidate provider, exact card trim and whether that provider is in-region for the selected destination.
↑ Back to top2. How physical decks are made
Every physical deck is intended to be manufactured to order by the exact provider selected for its destination, card count, finish and compatible provider box. The cards and box must use one provider route; no generic size or nearest-provider substitution is allowed.
That's why there is always a production window before a parcel ships at all, on top of ordinary transit time. We think that trade-off is worth it: it means no minimum print runs, no dead stock, and a deck that reflects the current, correct edition every time.
↑ Back to top3. Production & transit times
| Region | Production (business days) | Transit (business days) | Carrier type | Tracking |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| United States | 3–7 | 3–7 | Domestic postal / parcel carrier | Yes, provided on shipment |
| EU/EEA | 3–7 | 7–16 | International postal service, handed to local carrier for final-mile delivery | Yes, provided on shipment |
| United Kingdom | 3–7 | 7–16 | International postal service, handed to Royal Mail or equivalent for final-mile delivery | Yes, provided on shipment |
| Canada | 3–7 | 7–18 | International postal service, handed to Canada Post for final-mile delivery | Yes, provided on shipment |
| Australia | 3–7 | 10–21 | International postal service, handed to Australia Post for final-mile delivery | Yes, provided on shipment |
These figures are planning estimates, not active delivery promises. The selected provider's production queue, peak seasons (holidays, Valentine's Day), customs inspection, and carrier delays outside anyone's control can all add time on top of the ranges above. We'll flag known widespread delays on the order-confirmation page where we're aware of them.
4. Order cutoffs & processing
Orders placed before the daily production cutoff begin production that same business day; orders placed after the cutoff begin the next business day. Weekends and public holidays (US and, where relevant, the manufacturer's regional holidays) do not count as business days for either production or transit.
↑ Back to top5. Tracking
A tracking number is emailed to you as soon as your parcel ships. Tracking information can take 24–48 hours after that email to become active on the carrier's own site — if it shows nothing at first, that's normal, not a sign the parcel is lost.
↑ Back to top6. Duties, VAT and import charges
Because every physical deck ships from the United States, parcels going to the EU, UK, Canada or Australia may attract import VAT or GST, customs duty, and a carrier brokerage or handling fee collected on delivery.
The price you see is the price you pay. Every price shown on this site is the final amount due at checkout, with any applicable sales tax already included — nothing is added at the payment step. What we cannot include is tax charged by a different country's customs authority on a parcel crossing its border: that is levied on you by that authority, not by us, and it is separate from anything collected at checkout.
Unless checkout has explicitly collected duties and taxes on our behalf at the point of sale, you — the recipient — are normally the importer of record and are responsible for any duties, taxes and brokerage fees charged by customs or the carrier when the parcel arrives in your country.
In plain terms, there are two models for who pays and when:
- DDP (Delivered Duty Paid) — duties and taxes are collected from you at checkout and prepaid on your behalf; nothing further should be due on delivery.
- DAP (Delivered At Place) — duties and taxes are not collected at checkout; the carrier or customs authority will bill you directly, typically before or at the moment of delivery.
Which model applies to your order will be stated at checkout. A few thresholds are relevant to whether charges apply at all, though each is subject to change and must be confirmed by the seller before launch:
- United Kingdom — parcels valued at or under about £135 are generally handled differently from higher-value ones for import VAT purposes.
- European Union — the IOSS (Import One-Stop Shop) scheme generally covers consignments valued at or under €150.
- Australia — the low-value import threshold is generally around A$1,000, above which full import processing typically applies.
7. Refused or unclaimed parcels
If a parcel is refused at delivery, left unclaimed past the carrier's holding period, or returned to sender because import duties went unpaid, the cost of return shipping — and of any re-shipment you request afterward — is the buyer's responsibility, unless the return was caused by our error (for example, a manufacturing fault or a mis-shipped item).
↑ Back to top8. Discreet packaging
After Dark and any other explicit edition ship in plain, unbranded outer packaging, with a neutral sender description and no explicit imagery or wording visible from the outside. Nothing about the parcel identifies its contents to anyone who might see it before you open it.
The same discretion applies to your payment: the card statement descriptor reads as [STATEMENT DESCRIPTOR] — a neutral line that does not name the After Dark edition or describe explicit content.
↑ Back to top9. Address accuracy & the address-change window
You can request an address change only before production starts — once the selected print provider has begun printing your deck, the shipping label may be locked and unable to be changed or redirected. Please double-check your address at checkout; an incorrect or incomplete address supplied by you is your responsibility, and re-shipment to a corrected address is treated as a new order.
↑ Back to top10. PO boxes, APO/FPO and remote addresses
PO boxes can generally receive parcels sent by postal services but not by courier services that require a street address and a signature — check the carrier noted for your region above before choosing a PO box. Military APO/FPO addresses are treated as domestic US addresses for postal purposes, but production and transit times can still run longer than the ranges shown. Remote or rural addresses in any region may also see longer final-mile delivery than the ranges above reflect.
↑ Back to top11. Lost, delayed or damaged parcels
If tracking shows no movement for an extended period, or a parcel arrives visibly damaged, contact us at hello@meetmegently.com with your order number. Carriers typically require a parcel to be significantly overdue against its estimated delivery window — commonly several weeks for international post — before they will open a formal lost-parcel investigation; we will open that investigation on your behalf once that point is reached.
Once a parcel is confirmed lost by the carrier's investigation, or arrives damaged beyond use, we will replace it or refund it — see our Refund Policy for the mechanics of how refunds are processed.
↑ Back to top12. Split shipments
If your order combines a digital download with a physical deck, the two are handled separately: the digital files are delivered immediately after payment, while the physical deck follows the production and transit timeline described above. You do not need to wait for the physical deck to access your download.
