Terms of Sale & Use
Last updated: 28 July 2026
These terms govern every purchase made on this site — digital downloads delivered instantly and physical decks manufactured to order and shipped by our print-on-demand partner — plus your use of the website itself. Please read them before you buy.
1. Acceptance & who we are
By placing an order or otherwise using this website you agree to these Terms of Sale & Use. If you do not agree to them, please do not buy from us or use the site.
The seller is Ardit Tashi, trading as Meet Me Gently, registered at Via Antonio Fogazzaro 1, 20135 Milano (MI), Italy (company registration number Not applicable — this is a professional activity (libero professionista), not a commercial enterprise, and is therefore not registered with the Registro delle Imprese. No REA number exists., VAT ID IT11291420963). You can reach us at hello@meetmegently.com.
↑ Back to top2. Eligibility
Meet Me Gently is strictly for adults. By placing an order you confirm that you are at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live if that is higher, and that you have the legal capacity to enter into this contract. We do not knowingly sell to minors.
Our After Dark path contains explicit, adults-only material and is gated accordingly. See our Age Verification policy for how we confirm age at checkout and at the door to explicit content, and what happens if we later find reason to believe an order was placed by someone underage.
↑ Back to top3. The products
Meet Me Gently is a 108-card connection deck built around four everyday paths — Steady, Open, Reach and Repair — plus the After Dark path for consenting adults. We sell the deck in three formats:
- Digital download — a PDF and print-ready files you receive instantly after purchase, for personal use as described in §7.
- Physical deck — a printed, boxed card deck manufactured to order by our print-on-demand partner and shipped to you, described further at §10.
- Editions — from time to time we offer specific editions (for example a core set, an expanded set, or a themed set) with their own card counts, price, and included paths, each described on its own product page at the time of purchase.
Card wording, artwork, box design and included paths may be refined between print runs; we do our reasonable best to keep product pages accurate but minor variations between photographs and the item you receive are possible.
↑ Back to top4. Orders & contract formation
Placing an order through checkout is an offer by you to buy, not an acceptance by us. A binding contract is formed only when we confirm your order — for physical decks, when we confirm or dispatch it; for digital products, when the download is made available to you. Until that point we may decline or cancel an order, for example for suspected fraud, a pricing or listing error, or a stock or production issue with our print partner.
↑ Back to top5. Prices, taxes & VAT
Prices are shown in the currency displayed at checkout. Where applicable, prices shown to buyers in the EU and UK include VAT at the rate in force at the time of your order. Buyers in other countries may be responsible for local sales tax, import duty, or customs handling fees charged on delivery of a physical deck — these are not included in the price we charge and are outside our control. See Shipping & Delivery for more on customs and import charges by destination.
↑ Back to top6. Payment
All payments are processed entirely by Stripe, Inc., under Stripe's own terms of service and privacy policy. We never see, collect, or store your full card number — Stripe handles that end to end. Your order is only confirmed once Stripe confirms your payment has been authorised.
↑ Back to top7. Licence for digital goods
When you buy a digital download, we grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, revocable licence to use the files for private, non-commercial purposes within one household. You may print the files for your own personal use.
You may not, without a separate written licence from us:
- resell, rent, lend, or otherwise redistribute the files;
- share the files publicly or upload them to file-sharing services, forums, cloud drives with public links, or any similar platform;
- upload the files, in whole or part, to any dataset, corpus, or service used to train, fine-tune, or evaluate artificial intelligence or machine learning models;
- print the files for sale or distribution to others;
- use the deck in a commercial, coaching, or therapeutic-practice context — for example with clients or patients — without a separate professional or facilitator licence;
- remove, obscure, or alter any copyright notice, watermark, or attribution; or
- create derivative decks, translations, or adaptations based on our cards, artwork, or structure.
If you are a therapist, coach, facilitator, or other professional who wants to use the deck in your practice, write to us at hello@meetmegently.com to ask about a professional licence.
↑ Back to top8. Acceptable use of the website
You agree not to scrape or systematically extract content from this site, attempt to circumvent the age gate described in our Age Verification policy, reverse engineer or decompile any part of the site or its assets, or use automated tools to bulk-download product images, card content, or files.
↑ Back to top9. Intellectual property
All card text, artwork, typography, deck structure, packaging design, and the website itself are owned by Ardit Tashi or its licensors, and are protected by copyright and other intellectual-property laws. Where our Inspiration page cites books, researchers, or other third-party works, they are credited as inspiration only — no affiliation with or endorsement by those authors or publishers is implied or claimed.
If you send us feedback, suggestions, or ideas about the product, you grant us a perpetual, royalty-free licence to use them without any obligation to you.
↑ Back to top10. Print-on-demand production & delivery
Physical decks are manufactured to order by the exact print provider shown for the selected destination, card trim, finish and compatible provider box. The cards and box must stay on that same route. Each order has a production stage — cutting, assembling, and boxing your specific deck — followed by a transit stage once it is handed to a carrier. All production and delivery dates shown at checkout or in emails are estimates, not guarantees. See Shipping & Delivery for current production times, carriers, and destination coverage.
↑ Back to top11. Risk & title
Where you are buying as a consumer in the EU or UK, risk in a physical deck passes to you only when you or a person you have nominated takes physical possession of it — not when it is handed to the carrier. Title (ownership) in the goods passes to you once we have received payment in full.
↑ Back to top12. Availability & pricing errors
Despite our best efforts, a product page may occasionally show an incorrect price or description due to a technical or human error. If we discover an obvious error in an order we have accepted, we may correct it and give you the option to proceed at the correct price, or cancel the order and refund you in full.
↑ Back to top13. Disclaimers
Meet Me Gently is an educational, attachment-informed conversation product designed to help people talk more openly. It is expressly not therapy, counselling, diagnosis, treatment, medical advice, or psychological advice, and it is not a substitute for professional mental-health or medical care. Nothing in the deck or on this site is crisis support.
We make no promise about the outcome of using the deck. No single card, conversation, or session can establish whether a relationship is safe, and the deck should never be used as a substitute for your own judgment or for professional advice where that is what a situation calls for.
If you or someone you are with is in crisis or in danger, please contact your local emergency services or a crisis line immediately rather than relying on this product.
Every card in the deck follows a consent-first rule: any card may be passed, paused, swapped, or stopped at any time, by anyone at the table, for any reason, without needing to explain why.
↑ Back to top14. Statutory rights & warranties
Nothing in these terms limits or excludes your statutory rights as a consumer. In particular, the conformity and consumer-guarantee rights available to you under EU Directive (EU) 2019/771, the UK Consumer Rights Act 2015, and the Australian Consumer Law are not excluded by anything in these terms, and take precedence over any conflicting term here.
↑ Back to top15. Limitation of liability
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited under the law that applies to you.
Subject to that, our total liability to you arising out of or in connection with your order is limited to the amount you actually paid for the product giving rise to the claim, and we are not liable for indirect, consequential, or loss-of-profit damages. If you are a consumer, this limitation does not affect your non-waivable statutory rights described in §14.
↑ Back to top16. Indemnity (business users only)
If you are buying in the course of a business, trade, or profession, you agree to indemnify us against any claim, loss, or expense arising from your breach of these terms or your misuse of the products, including any misuse of the digital licence described in §7. This section does not apply to consumers.
↑ Back to top17. Suspension & termination for breach
We may suspend or terminate your access to digital downloads, and refuse future orders, if we reasonably believe you have breached these terms — for example by redistributing files in breach of §7 or by attempting to circumvent the age gate described in §8.
↑ Back to top18. Force majeure
We are not liable for any delay or failure to perform caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, war, industrial action, carrier disruption, or failure of our print-on-demand partner's production facilities.
↑ Back to top19. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time, for example to reflect changes in law or in how we sell our products. The version in force at the time you place an order applies to that order. We will update the “Last updated” date above whenever we make a change.
↑ Back to top20. Severability, assignment, no waiver & entire agreement
If any provision of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest continue in full force. We may assign these terms or our rights under them to another company, for example as part of a business transfer; you may not assign your rights without our written consent. Our failure to enforce any provision is not a waiver of it. These terms, together with our Privacy Notice, Cookie Policy, and Shipping & Delivery and Returns, Refunds & the Right of Withdrawal policies, form the entire agreement between us regarding your order.
↑ Back to top21. Governing law & venue
These terms are governed by the laws of Italian law. This does not deprive a consumer of the protection of mandatory provisions of the law of the country where they are habitually resident (Regulation (EC) No 593/2008, Article 6)., and the courts of For consumers: the courts of the consumer's place of residence or domicile, in accordance with the foro del consumatore (Article 66-bis of the Italian Consumer Code). For all other users: the courts of Milan, Italy. have jurisdiction over any dispute, without prejudice to the paragraph below.
If you are a consumer resident in the EU or UK, this choice of law does not deprive you of the protection of any mandatory consumer-protection law of your own country of residence, and you may always bring proceedings before the courts of the country where you live.
↑ Back to top22. Dispute resolution
If something goes wrong, please contact us first at hello@meetmegently.com so we can try to resolve it informally — most issues are sorted out this way within a few days.
Consumers in the EU may also refer a dispute to their national consumer arbitration or alternative-dispute-resolution (ADR) body. Please note that the European Commission's Online Dispute Resolution (ODR) platform was discontinued in 2025, so we do not offer it as an option here — please use your national ADR body directly instead. Consumers in the UK may refer a dispute to an approved ADR scheme.
↑ Back to top23. Contact
